About Me
My goal is to help organizations and programs find synergy and discover new possibilities so they have the foundation they need to excel at what they do. Over the years I’ve had the privilege of helping dozens of clients assess the needs of their communities, synthesize their ideas into actionable plans, write grant proposals that get funded, and work more meaningfully in collaboration with their partners. From planning to implementation to evaluation, I strive to work collaboratively with you to adapt to the unique environment of your own program or organization.

Needs Assessment
Whether you're seeking a better understanding of your community's needs related to a specific topic or want to learn about the broader priorities of your community, I can help you design and carry out an assessment that addresses the questions you need answered. We'll tap into existing sources of data as well as develop data collection tools such as surveys and focus groups that specifically address your needs. I will help you analyze your data in a meaningful way and synthesize these findings into a report that helps guide your program and planning efforts.
Strategic Planning and Coalition Development
I'm a facilitator at heart and thrive the most when I'm helping groups come together around shared values or goals. Whether you and your partners want to develop a mutual understanding of the purpose of your organization or program or you need a strategic plan to guide your work, I am here to help. I will work together with you to identify a relevant and effective facilitation framework for your program or organization that will help us lay a foundation of understanding and vision from which to build, guide you through the development of realistic and meaningful strategies and goals, help you define how you will work together to achieve your goals, and produce a report that is easy to put into action and won't just sit on a shelf.
Grant Writing
I've helped my clients successfully secure tens of millions of dollars in grant funding. I will help you identify funding opportunities with a high likelihood of success for your project; synthesize your needs and project ideas into a clearly written narratives that address the requirements of the funder; develop budgets, work plans, and logic models that are aligned with your project; and navigate and assemble the many parts and pieces of your final application package. If you're a more seasoned grant writer and just need a thought partner or some technical assistance and feedback, I can help with that too.
Evaluation
My background is in program development and implementation, and I'll be the first to admit I used to run away as fast as I could if I heard the word evaluation. But I've learned over the years just how helpful evaluation is when it's done effectively. When I work with you, I will always start by asking you what it is you want to know first. Then we'll design the evaluation together taking your needs and resources into account. We'll decide what data to collect, how and when we will collect that data, and the most effective ways to present the data back to you so you can use it to inform your work. I'll analyze the data collected and write a report that provides you with the information collected in a way that will help you demonstrate your outcomes, adjust your processes, and communicate about your program's impact with your funders and constituents.
